brake pad suggestions for track
Hi so I plan to run the S2k challenge in April and i wanted some advice on pads. I was going to go with Carbotechs like everyone else but their price along with needing to get new rotors is too high for me. It's going to cost me around$600-$700 with a rbf600 flush.
Do you guys have any suggestions on maybe cheaper pads that will get the job done and that do not require me to use fresh rotors?
Thanks in advance

I got a set of XP 10/8 and TWO full sets of Centric rotors shipped to my door for ~$600 ish, IIRC.

Carbotech recommends new rotors with new pads, but you don't have to. You could get them resurfaced. Just make sure you still have some good thickness left in the rotors otherwise they will be more prone to cracking.
