Default Brake ducts--stock legal?

I have a multi-function car--it's my daily driver; I track it, and I'm attempting to autocross it (hoping the upcoming Evolution school will help on the last count).

I'm getting some issues with overheating the brake pads (full Cobalt race pads) on the track, and it's been recommended that I install brake ducts.

I suspect that such things would not be stock legal for autocrossing. I only do local autocross, and brake ducts would not be in any way a performance advantage in autocross. Would I be forced to run in some sort of modified class with brake ducts?

If you are only running locally, I would discuss it with your fellow competitors. They shouldn't have a problem with it, especially if you are upfront about it.
