Default Billstein PSS9?

is anyone using the Billstein PSS9 coilovers? if so I want some opinions because I had some on my civic and they couldn't have been better street and track but that was front wheel...now that I want to do my suspension on my s2k they're the first set of coilovers that I want to turn to but lemme hear some voices of people who have driven on them on the street and track.

I like the suspension tight tight tight and low low low with as little roll as possible on my everyday driver. who wants to help me choose???

We sell both, but there's no question that the KW Variant 3s are a better combination. The Bilsteins might be a better street setup since they're sprung much softer than the KWs, but once you make that transition to the track, there's no comparison.

I have a set of PSS9's. First and foremost they are Bilstein's...beautifully engineered and built.

They are better as an aggressive street unit then they are as a mild track unit. For me the street behavior is spot on...only slightly more harsh with much enhanced handling.
I put about ten track days on them this summer and found them much to my liking with a great understeer/oversteer balance (read, less oversteer than stock). I will add that with a total of over 100 track days, I'm running out of spring. I'm considering replacing the appro. 300lb/in springs with 400lb/in springs. For reference, the KW3's come with 515lb/in units that are probably on the very edge of acceptability for street use. It comes back to the issue of is your car a street car or a track car.

On another note, I installed the anti-bumpsteer kit from the Go-Fast Lab and can highly recommend it, whichever coil-over you choose.

thanks, that was pretty much exactly what I was looking for...I'm probably going to go with the KWs and I'm deffinately going to get the bumpsteer kit but I want to drive on the coilovers before the anti bs kit so I can feel the difference.

One nice thing about the Bilsteins is that you can get them revalved for about $100 per shock in San Diego. The people down there are pretty sharp. They use the standard sized coilover springs, don't they?
