what direction was the time at the sows? also having a 225 vs 235 will increase your understeer slightly if you had any. I feel that the 225 245 combo is fairly neutral. if your going bigger do both, 235 , 255.

can anyone confirm if 255 on stock suspension with stock rims would rub?
I'm running on 05 stock rims with 225/45/17 up front and 255/40/17 in the back, no problem what so ever.

it was cw. and stock tire set up caused too much understeer since front is only 215

there is no 245 for falken azenis, so i'll have to choose 255 for the rear and 235 for the front

Does anyone have pics of the pinch for the 235's on the front stock wheels? I'm considering going with 235's for DD as I have a very stiff FSB.

Thanks,

-Dave

depends on manufacturer. my 235 toyo's looked to be the same "pinch" as a pair of 225 a6's i saw this past sunday. what tires do you want to run? if this is for the street, you really do not need 235's.

Who said anything about needs... it is all about wants.
in that case, if you are not prepping for any particular class, then you should up to a larger wheel up front, a 8 or even a 9 and run a 235/245 street tire.

That would be great, but I already have the sunk cost in the 2 sets of AP2v1 wheels, which does look very nice. I have even considered doing 235F/265R, but I really don't want the pinch.

I can say that with my AP1 wheels the A6 245's on all corners, my car is a blast and I am becoming pretty quick with them.
