Ben's First Professional Racing Opportunity

Friends, it has been a pleasure to race with and get to know many S2000 owners in the last three years. Through this community's generosity i have learned much about the craft of sports car racing and have made some life-long friendships. I wanted to share some exciting news.
I have a unique opportunity to participate in a professional sports car race July 26th at Autobahn. This would be my first professional sports car racing opportunity. The Mazda MX-5 Pro Cup is a nationally televised series, featuring some fantastic drivers from around the nation. I am cautiously optimistic about this opportunity as I will be racing at Autobahn a week before with the NASA event. http://www.autobahngrandprix.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I have put together a fantastic crew for the race. Andrew DeKoning is a professional crew chief for a Grand-Am team, Chad Martin is an expert at prepping and maintaining race cars, and Damian Dela Huerta will be providing driver coaching support.
I have negotiated a deal with a car owner, transportation company, and the crew has offered their services voluntarily. As a result I need to cover approximately $6250 in costs in order to compete. I have put up $3000 of my own money for this opportunity, but will need to raise the rest in sponsorship.
I am asking for sponsorship and/or help with any recommendations of possible sponsors. Do to the generosity of many people, we've raised $4,700 of the $6,250 needed to make the event happen. I'm aware that we're all racers looking for sponsorship ourselves, but everything helps and any recommendations you could provide would be helpful.

Thanks again and i wish you all the best in your own racing endeavors.

Good luck!
My first time in the Skip Barber MX5's I was racing against Justin Piscatel (the National Champion) who was sponsored for the Playboy MX5 Cup, believe he won the first race this season and placed 6th at Laguna after running too deep into the last corner and dropping back from 3rd.
One day I hope to have such an opportunity!
