this guy has them on his STI and he had all 4 shock dynoed. Now im not very good at reading shock dynos so i actually dont know what they are saying. If anyone can read it please let me know. this is meant to be an informative post and to see what people think about this coilover as an alternative.

It all depends on what you want. Do you autocross or track your S? If so, what is your budget for suspension?
Overall, any shock that has adjusters that don't do much is something to stay away from.

i do a bit of both. more into track than autox though. i enjoy the challenge being stock and trying to keep up with faster cars out there but i feel like im reaching the limit of stock suspension. just doing a lot of research before i commit to anything. also i thought this might be a good alternative? i guess we will find out.

From the little bit that I read he doesn't seem to like them due to the way the rebound adjusts.
Gonna have to finish reading it later, seems like an informative writeup.

Bottom line is this. Don't waste money on shocks that don't do what the say they will, or buy shocks that don't match side to side. The guys on that thread seem to think that because there is a shock dyno, that means it's not a crap shock (I think It might be crap). For the money you can do better with a Koni twin-tube for about $2000 for a set that will blow most shocks out of the water. Other (cheaper) mono-tube options that are probably okay is KW.

For our car it is, although they might make a mono-tube that they don't advertise for our car. If that's the case then it might be something to look into because for a twin tube I think they did a good job with the V3
