Huh?!? The only troll I see here is you calling her one.

The Tire Rack mentions shaving as an option if you want to run the Wets as intermediates. There are two schools of thought here. On one hand, intermediate conditions (consistently wet surface, but no standing water) are more common than full wet ones (standing water). On the other, some argue that normal R-compounds should still be as fast or faster than Wets in intermediate conditions, and that the speed difference between full tread and shaved Wets in those conditions will be negligible anyways. For those reasons, personally I'd go with full tread.
