Here's a run at around 45F with Dunlops, all of the standing water was gone by this point:
The car was fun to drive, and you can tell that I liked the time too.

I'd remove the winter tires from the plan. They're going to suck badly. We ran a winter autocross on clear dry pavement at -22F a few years ago. The all-season tires absolutely dominated (2+ seconds) the winter tires, the rubber on winter tires is just too soft to provide any grip on hard surfaces. P.S. Cones shattered like champagne glasses that day, amazingly no bumpers broke though!
I'd say:
32F or below and wet - all seasons (if you don't have those, go with whatever street tires you have)
32F-50F and wet - whatever performance/summer 'street' tires you have
50F and above - A6s
The worst part about working in cold/rain is keeping your hands and feet warm. Any money spent on rain gear is a VERY good investment.

My instinct would have been Hoosier dirt track tires or wets, but I didn't think about them doing the Toyo shoulder crack thing.
Alabama rocks. We run all the way into December, and I've never had to run in freezing rain

Gah. Forecast is calling for snow on Saturday.
Planning on running the RE-01Rs (235 / 265). If it's really nasty out, we might try a safety run using the RS4 on snow tires....
I'm very curious to see how things wind up.

...I really wish I didn't sign up to work the gate in the morning. Standing there for an hour when its still about 25* is gonna suck!

Good luck Charles! Let us know how it goes.
Driving to the site on REs should be interesting. Sounds like a good day to trailer the car.
