DFVs are 2999 complete. Hats and springs, plus have damper technology that 5k dampers don't have.

What do the 4150s cost plus hats and springs?

Also, the DFVs have been tuned for the S2000 by ohlins, you're just guessing the damping and springs on the ASTs, get the ohlins.

Only the 4150s will be aluminum...4100s are steel. I had emailed Vorshlag about the 4150s and they are telling me it will probably be end of summer before they are actually available for the s2k so don't plan on getting some for a little while still.

I'm running AST 4200's and feel as though they are very high quality units. Certainly no issues with seizing.

I was surprised to hear them say that. They weren't talking bad about AST, they were basically saying that they're (AST) trying to figure out how to fix it.

PSI west coast, Ohlins USA east coast. Due to their quality and extreme tolerances, Ohlins go a lot longer between rebuilds.

They could not give me a direct quote for dampers+springs for the S2000, but they said that the 4150's+Swift springs for an evo would be $2360 so somewhere around that price.
They also estimated the 4150's to arrive sometime around august.
EDIT: Idk how much the hats cost, but you don't need them to run their dampers.

I love my AST's. Apparently Vorshlag is coming out with a new top hat mount for them. Yet to see a picture of it but I understand a set is on a car for testing now.
