I'll be at most of the events this season, but only if there is not an event at FCSCC (Stratford, www.fcscc.com) or at Devens Air Force Base (Ayer, MA) with NER.org.
Good job taking the novice class. There are some very quick guys in AS there locally, and with the rule changes for CART you'll need to stay on street tires to run in stock class. Other wise you go to BSP if you run RComps. (Yes, it's not fair, but is designed to encourage participation in stock class.) The s02's will hold up well against common performance street tires, but you'll get blown away by guys on Star Spec z1's, RE01Rs or some other nasty extreme performance summer tire.
I'll be at the FCSCC event running AStock this Sunday. Some VERY quick guys will be there. You can register online. Hope you can make it, and it's closer to your home (as long as you are still in NY)
