Default AP2 Alignment

I have an MY04 AP2. I'm going to put front 225/45/17 back 255/40/17 Michelin PS2 on the stock 17" wheels. First question is will those tires fit and have anybody had rubbing issues with the tires widthes. Second when i get these tires on i'm going to get an alignment. I am specifically asking to people with these tire sizes or anyone who is very knowledgable with suspensions. I'm on the stock suspension btw. I want to put the UK alignment specs from the AP1's on this vehicle and am curious as to how the handling (high speed straight and turns) has been with these settings at the track. This vehicle is also my DD so i am also curious as to the tire wear. I understand it has more camber therefore more inside tire wear.

As of right now i got the vehicle with 215 kuhmos on the front and some 245 off brand raptors on the back. They are making the car really squirmy and unbalanced because of the brand difference. i mean, taking a 45mph turn 50mph shouldnt make this vehicle squirmy. I also don't know what the current alignment specs are. Thanks for all of your help.

p.s. I have done tons of research, and have not seen a solid answer as to how uk specs do for a stock AP2.

There are many threads for alignment settings, but here were my last settings for my CR. This will have less tire wear than most my other aggressive alignments so far while allowing my to have an incredible amount of initial bite/turn in over the factory settings. I have been playing with these auto-x alignments for 3 years now with 3-4 ajustments or changes each year. You might want to cut back on the rear camber a bit, but I still would want at least -2 even if I drive my S as a DD only.

Camber: (you may be limited on your drivers front)
RF ... -1.75
LF ... -1.74
RR ... -2.69
LR ... -2.66

Toe:
RF ... 0.07
LF ... 0.07
RR ... -0.07
LR ... -0.05
Total Toe Ft ... 0.13
Total Toe R ... -0.12
Cross Camber Ft ... -0.24
Cross Caster Ft ... -0.27
Thrust Angle Rear ... 0.01

I was about to post similar question - might as well piggy-back here... hope you don't mind, nuke

In my case, Bridgestone RE-050A PP's, with spirited driving at the Dragon and a handful of track events. More interested in performance there compared to daily driving tire wear, as this is a second car for me.

Nuke, could you post UK alignment in here for reference? As I recall, I had a hard time finding it last year.

i can tell you from experience that the Riken Raptors WILL make your car feel squirrelly in the rear. So that is likely most of your problem.

Postive toe in the front and that much negative toe in the rear?

That is quite a bit different than the UK alignment specs

Consider the differences in spring rates between the AP1 and AP2s. I actually started with the UK spec alignment and ended up with the specs above. There is less tire scrub and wear with the specs above than the others. BTW, this isn't much negative toe for an S2000.

I am running Raptors and had less of a problem with them than the Kumos I was running. I was close to have the fastest lap of the day during auto-x.
