I've had HP+ on a FWD car as well. Good pads, but I wondered if there was something else out there.
Are pads cheaper when they're called RSX pads?

HP+ on an 2100 lb FWD Civic glazed over in 1/2 a lap at Beaverun. They're a fine street pad but, useless on the track if you brake anywhere near the limit (as in right on the verge of ABS engagement). If you're not into "extreme late braking" (Initial D reference) then they might be fine.
It's funny. The Integra Type-R pad = V6 accord Pads, late model Prelude pad, NSX pad and a couple others. The problem is the price is the same when you get a high performance pad.

I have to agree that the axxis pads suck for hpde track use...especially if you are in a higher group and brake hard....im looking for a much better pad that can be driven to and from the track...
hey mikegarrison, you said its not a big deal but u switch rotors? What will really happen if you keep the same rotors but swap pads in for he trakc and street?

I use Carbotech XP10's on the street and track. They're dusty and noisy but, I don't really care. Even cold they stop well. Because they're ceramic they don't eat the rotors and their dust isn't corrosive. People who switch back and forth probably do it mainly for cost reason. XP10's for my car are $150.

Little known fact: the RSX-S and S2K use the same front pads.
