Anyone Track with Tein CS coilovers?
I know that Tein says that these coilovers are meant for street driving and not tracks, but i was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these coilovers on the track?
The spring rates are very close to stock specs, but just a little stiffer:
Front: 4.0kg/mm (223.99lb/in), Rear: 6.0kg/mm (335.98lb/in)
Even though Tein says these are for a sporty street driving. Do you guys think that they will be able to handle a track day since they are firmer than the stock setup?

They are not ideal but should be fine for a track day. The only issue is if the car is significant lower than stock you are going to end up running on the bumpstops (not good). Of course if you raise your car, your alignment will be off. Run them at about stock height level and that should be fine for a HPDE day.

A stock S2000--or for that matter--a stock Miata--is set up sufficiently for a track day (it's not a race). But if you're going to pony up dough for the CS Teins and want to track your car I'd say spend a little more and get RAs.

Well I already have the TEIN CS on my car. My car is a daily driver so I got the CS for the comfort. I was just curious to know if they will be sufficient for a couple track events. I have never tracked the car but I'm sure one day I will take it to the track. So i just wanted to see if anyone has had any problems...like the shocks wearing faster and needing to be rebuilt.

they'll be fine for a track day. Just try not to go off. It really depends on your ride height, though. If you go more than 1" lower than stock (with a stock length shock body, which I believe the Tein CS are) you'll need stiffer springs.
