Anyone in Mid-West area track?
My friend told me yesterday that a new track in the city of Joliet (not more than 20 minutes) from Chicago is opening up. It's supposedly bigger than Gingermann and A LOT longer than Blackhawk.
Anyone hear of this?
Anyone even track on this forum from Mid-West?

It's called Autobahn Country Club, and it opened late last year. I believe they have several DE's scheduled in addition to club racing and member only events.
As for taking my car to the track, I can't afford to wreck it, so I stick to Solo.

Shameless plug for the folks I'll probably go with....I attended my first-ever track event with them at Road America, and I thought it was very well done!

Looks like a fun track...and it's so close (to me and everyone else who lives in the chicagoland area)!
