any time comparisions between Evo and S2000 in Auto-x?
I tried to read the "nationals" results, but there are 6 numbers...... and I am stooopid.
Looks like the Evo in AS finished midpack vs all the S2000's in BS..... were they run on the same course? same days? similar conditions? etc....
I have now run 1 auto-x this year and had fun..... i think the drivers must have sucked because my Evo beat all but 1 "street tire" cars and it was a GT3 porsche..... boxster S's, 996's, 996 TT all fell prey.... but I think they stunk at driving basically.

So Cal has been blessed with a few Evos, including the one that placed second in ESP - look at Friday results, when it was dry for everyone. Thursday was very wet.
The EVO is extremely capable in stock form, and is well classed in AS. Follow what Richard Jung and Bret Norgaard do in ESP this year (ESP allows shocks, springs, full exhaust, and a few other mods), and keep an eye out for either James Gunn-Wilkinson or Ted Drcar in their stock Evos. All four are very good drivers, competing in regions with several top drivers, making their results good representations of the car's ability.
Let's just say I'm thankful I don't own an ESP Mustang or Camaro...
