[QUOTE=vjarnot,Sep 15 2010, 03:48 AM] Sounds like a good option.

It really depends a lot on where the car is, and maybe what its used for. I can say, my car was always in Florida, and had 140k miles on them, and their was not one stock bushing on their that was not cracked or ripped in a way. So I would say after 100k miles if you are a track guy they should be replaced. If you only drive on the street, it is possibe they can last forever i guess in a way.

Yes, I did all of it myself. I had the car on jack stands for a little over 2 weeks. Mostly because i could not get a bolt out of front LCA so I cut it, and the compliance bushings were in bad shape so i ordered new front LCAs from Honda (huge rip off), but the bolt i cut was on backorder and took the longest to get in.

Over all the job is not that bad, mostly time consuming. Taking the control arms out was the easy part, same with putting them in. I did not use a press or anything. I just used a hammer, a drill (lots of broken drill bits) a torch, chisel, flat head screwdrivers, recipricating saw, sledge hammer, and a TON of elbow grease! LOL. I also wound up having to change my rear lower control arm ball joints since the threads were stripped. Just prepare to do the job and give your self a week to do it if all goes smooth. Hopefully nothing will break or need to be cut for you to need to order new parts. Also, all my powerflex bushings were way under $700.
Thanks for the very informative post. Any chance you could PM me where you got your powerflex set? I'm pretty certain that this is the direction I'm going to go, but I'll be getting a harbor freight press to do it...

Having a press is not a bad idea at all. I sent you a PM.

You can find many on ebay. I think this place could also order the S2000 pieces for you. He carries Hardrace parts but seems to stock mostly for Civics and Integras: http://www.specialprojectsms.com
