Default Annoying and kinda odd... inner cv shake

I had no shakes until about the last 200 miles or so I put on the car. Now it shakes like crazy under acceleration. I got a good 65k miles out of these inner joints, so I can't complain all that much, but it is strange how quickly the problem cropped up this time. And I don't remember doing anything that should have caused it (no clutch dumps or anything like that).

I'm just going to swap them left-right this week to fix it. Should I bother ordering a new cv boot kit, or just re-use the boots and put new grease in?

Unless they are cracked, I'd say to reuse them.

However, I'd inspect them carefully, in case the cause of the sudden deterioration was a problem with the boots.

Try full accel on a hard left and right.

Sounds more like OUTER CV to me.

Anyone else had an OUTER go bad? I just assumed it was an inner, but now Asura has me worried.

I did the RT flip and repack on the inners, to try and diagnose the vibration. Turned out it was the outer left CV.

I prefer to drive without landing gear required

Airborne as often as you are, surprised you don't have a pilot's license.
