Announcing: KW Variant 3 SALE!
As promised, I'm happy to announce the ONE TIME sale on KW Suspensions' ground breaking Variant 3 coilover system for the Honda S2000.
From now until October 17 th 2005, we're going to be selling the double-adjustable Variant 3 system for the same price we normally sell the single-adjustable Variant 2 units: That's $1795 + shipping ($1855 delivered to the lower 48 and Canada) for the KW Variant 3!
This price is only good from today through 10/17/05, no rainchecks, no exceptions. After the 17th the price goes back to the standard $2150.
The fine print:
1) These coilovers are made to order in Germany so expect the normal 3-4 weeks manufacturing and delivery time to get them to your door.
2) I need a minimum of five (5) sets bought and paid for to get the GB price.
3) Your credit card will be billed at the time of your order; there will be no refunds or exchanges for items listed in this special sale.
For more information about the KW Variant 3 and to place your order for a set at the sale price, follow this link to our store: http://www.gofastlab.com/s2ki/product.php?...7&cat=12&page=1
If you have any questions about these, then please contact me via email at support @ gofastlab.com PRIOR TO ORDERING.
Happy shopping

I think I'll order a set but I have a few questions:
1) are the springs progressive or linear (the pic looks like on of the springs is linear and one is progressive?)
2) The pic shows helper springs. Does this kit use them? If so, can they be left off and not used?
3) Is this a mono or dual tube shock?
4) What about the ability to rebuild? How often and how much $$$?
Thanks.

JP,
Will we be getting the suspension before the next challenge event?

Not sure about that. It's going to be 3-4 weeks to make & ship them, so you might get lucky but I can't guarantee an exact delivery date.

2) From this thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=259346 you can see the springs are linear and do come with the helper springs. Leave things off at your own risk. We don't recommend going against what KW recommends; unlike us, they're engineers and designed the system a certain way. I'm not going to second-guess them.
3) The V-3 is a dual-tube design with external fluid reservoirs on all four corners.
4) Not sure about the cost of rebuilding. Send me an email to support @ gofastlab.com and I'll forward it to them to ask the question.

I'm not sure if those springs are configured as helpers or tenders. If helpers, then you're right; if tenders then you're not
One last question: can you get the coilovers with the "High Performance Race springs" instead of the "Standard Race Springs" in the same rates (515/515)? Thanks.
