I got another aligment done and this time I got it perfectly!!!
negative 2.5 camber on rear
negative 1.5 camber up front
caster right at 6
1 mm. toe OUT up front
1 mm. toe IN on rear (not sure if meas. in mm or degrees)
Anyway, the car handles like a dream!!!!!! No more oversteer or understeer...just perfect!!!!

I wonder what would happen though if it wasn't a typo

toe out in the rear leads to huge oversteer and degrades straight line acceleration.
toe in in the front makes it harder to turn-in but increases high speed stability.

yeah beware of 0 toe in the rear too. Under acceleration your car squats down and causes you to toe out slightly, which can make for a wild ride coming out of fast corners and will slow your accell speed.
I shoot for .03 per side toe IN in the rear. (.06 total) That way under full "squat" we are no more than 0 toe.
Not to mention the toe-in in the rear helps keep the car more compliant under braking.

how would one communicate alignment specs to a shop??
what seems to be the most popular/desirable alignment specs that are generally used/accepted by a majority of board members/users??

exactly.
there's the long alignemnt thread in under the hood which is a good reference. I have a few general alignment settings in which I recommend, but it all depends on your driving style and if you autox or track your car - and just how agressive you want from a track alignment.

What is the rest of the car set up like. Front sway bar? Tires?
I got Bill gendrons alighnment right now and it was a bit of a Oversteering nightmare. It was quick but a bit tricky to control.
