if you're only doing 1 the alignment. no question.

if you're asking the order to do both of them, corner weight then alignment. alignment shouldn't change your corner weights.

its corner balance then alignment. Usually its done in the same day, most shops that can do corner balancing can also do alignment.

I would recommend doing the alignment first and then a final corner weight. Caster adjustments have a huge impact on corner weight.

Our race team always does a rough corner weight - based upon static measurements then the alignment and finally full corner weighting.

Another way of looking at it - raising or lowering spring perches a few turns has a minimal effect on alignment whereas a small change in caster has a large effect on corner weight

so now i'm confused apparently there is no definate way??

most of you say corner balance then align. PDS makes sense but he says align then CB.

is there no set way of doing this? it's just opinion or what?

My shop does both at the sametime. He goes back and forth adjusting both as one changes the other till everything is spot on... takes about 2 - 2.5 hours.
