Alignment cam position & suspension geometry?
Take the rear camber adjustment for example. If the adjustment nut is all the way to the outside, the control arm is at its most extended point (most neg camber). You can rotate the nut both upwards or downwards to achieve the same decrease in neg camber or same movement of control arm inwards, but it seems like having the lower control arm inner pivot higher or lower would change the instant center of the rear suspension. Do any of you have any experience with this and would I have a more optimal suspension geometry with the inner pivot higher or lower? I am lowered about 1" if that helps. Thanks.

When I said it didn't matter I meant that I did not think their was enough vertical clearance in the slot to change the way the car handled.
Just my opinion.
OP you could try it both ways and see if you can tell any difference. Then let us know the results if you don't get an answer for a expert.

The roll center is not optimal from the factory, and it's less optimal when lowered. The issue is more severe on earlier cars. 00-03 vs >04.
The roll center is relative to both instantaneous centers. Changing pick up points is how to make adjustments in the roll center.
When you know where your roll center is currently located, you can better control how your race car will perform dynamically.

You're right.
This is the front camber adjustment hole.
The bolt only moves in or out but the cam "moves" up and down
I think the bolt just moves back and fourth in a slot not up and down. But I could be wrong.

The control arm moves in and out with the cam which is fine but does it also move up and down depending on cam position?
I believe the answer is no.
