Default alignement problem

I have had 3 alignementd done on my car, and after a long drive on each the steering wheel goes off center. It comes off the rack perfect after a few hundred miles it goes out. the car still goes straight if i let go of the steering wheel so the alignement is still good. Anybody have a theary on the wheel the car is an 02. Thanks

Did the same shop do all 3 alignments? When you took it in how was the alignment before they centered the steering wheel? Knowing what the numbers were before they adjusted anything would tell you what's going on but most likely one of the adjusters slipped. I have to almost double the specified torque on my adjusters to keep them from moving. Check your alignment paperwork, many shops give a before and after printout.

I had this same problem on my 06 and Honda bought it back so I was never able to find out what was wrong.

Like robrob said, pics of your alignment sheets can help. You can also have the alignment shop mark all of the adjusters including the rear adjusters after the alignment to see if one of them is slipping but my guess is it's just an issue with toe since it still drives straight when you let go of the wheel.

That would have been good info to help us troubleshoot for you. I put black marker around the SPC top nut and then scribe a line around it so I can tell if it's moved. Actually I put scribe lines on all my suspension adjusters. I've never had one slip but you need to use a torque wrench for that 120 lb-ft top nut.

This was the reason I got rid of my SPC adjusters.
