Air/Oil Separator Oil Cap

Air/Oil Separator Oil Cap
I just saw this product for the WRX and thought it was a genius idea, for us that need to drain their catch cans after almost every session....

Now, their product probably won't work on our cars as there are reports of it not handling a lot of oil at once and the low clearance, even if they made one with a Honda thread; has anyone thought of having a better AOS instead of a catch can, and then route the "clean" oil to the oil cap?

I have the radium engineering catch can with their drain. If you PM me I can show you how I have it set up to empty between runs very easily not to mention their products are top notch.
I want one of my buddies to get the same set up so I can do a write up on it

Thanks, yeah I have an EL Cheapo ebay special catch can that I can empty quickly. Just thought it would be nice to have one less thing to worry about. Guess the only real option is to drill the engine and add a bung, but I'm not ready to do that...

Since the oil fill cap is the highest component in the engine bay, pushing oil up hill to drain into the cap isn't really feasible.
If you don't want to have to drain your catch tank, then weld a bung to the highest point of the oil pan and run a line to the catch tank, same principle as a oil train for a turbo.

I went with Bob's Autosport can for $99, which has a very convenient drain plug and mounted it to the metal bracket on the radiator. Draining is a breeze.
