The Hoosiers have monster stiff sidewalls and give lattitude on rim pinch, every tire manufacturer has a rim range so stay within that for street tires. Or, just run a rear rim with a turned centerbore.

The original purpose of non-staggered tires was balance a car with a huge front bar (for turn-in and AX rules) and/or for so much front camber that the car had too small a tire patch for braking and transients.

Gotcha. I'm road racing (HPDE), not AutoX, running Toyo RA1's which are already a little pinched on stock AP1 wheels. I'm getting some new, wider wheels so just trying to decide what sizes to go with.

Just another variable to play with

Thanks for clearing up that this whole 275 business is pretty AutoX specific.
