Thanks so much for your input. If you can run them successfully on the national tour, they will certainly benefit me locally. I'm relatively new to the game and have seen enough improvement in my driving that I'm ready to invest in miss that potentially improve my times! Will be installing the gendron solid this week and my 255's for the front should be in either Friday or Monday.
Big thanks to Dave for swapping parts with me so I could have my bar on for Sunday!!!!!
Hope to gain enough experience and confidence to see you this fall in Arkansas pedal. :-)

I am a little confused from reading through this thread... I thought that the RS3's had a stiffer sidewall than the Star Specs but up above it sounds like you guys are saying it is the opposite?

Star specs and for sure have stiffer side walls then rs3s

Just as Josh said, the SS are much stiffer than the RS3s. The Dunlops are much harder to mount on my PF01s than the RS3s. They also require less pressures to wear evenly. Turn in is much sharper from the Dunlops but the RS3s have more available lateral grip.
