Default 225/50 front & 265/45 rear ??????

225/50 front & 265/45 rear, can I run these tire sizes w/o a bigger front sway bar? I want to run a bigger bar (MUZ / Whiteline) later in the season to see how much in helps. Will I do any harm to my suspension or times by running the wider tire?

They will be going onto SSR integrals.

265/45 is too big, you'd need closer to a 265/35. Normal size is 245/45 so you see where I'm going with this. 225/50 front is fine.

should I be running a bigger front sway bar with the 225/50? Or can I wait and see.

The 265s will work ok with no front bar since the front-to-rear width ratio is maintained. They're an inch taller so you'll lose some acceleration but for novices or folks not trying to win championships, they should be fine.

I would be concerned about the wider / taller rear tires rubbing.

When the Kumho V700's were out of stock and I had to have another set of race tires I bought 265/45's. When I first got in the car with them on it I felt like I was in a 69 Mustang with the rear end jacked up. The grip in the turns was great but acceleration was badly hurt because they were to tall and to heavy. I was happy when I could get back to 245's. Of course I spun the car on my first two laps on the 245's...
