215/40/17 & 245/40/17 V710
I am selling my Miata and am going to start autocrossing my S2000 locally this year and was looking at various tire setups.
I have heard to many rubbing issues with 245/275 and 245/245 setups to really consider going with those options with V710s.
According the tirerack specs on 215/245 V710, they are only slightly less actual tire width up front then a 245 front. They are also pretty reasonably priced coming in at just $700.
I haven't found much on this setup. Has anyone ran it and if so are there any issues with it? I am considering running a CR front bar but for now I am going to stay stock.
I only plan on doing 2 time trails this year and 8 autocrosses locally so I need something that should last me most of the season.
Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Not your main question, but:
Don't do it. I don't know how much autocrossing experience you have, but if you're inexperienced, you'll hate life because you'll find the car too loose, and if you're experienced, you'll hate life because you won't be able to put power down due to inside rear wheel lift.
