I'm a little confused. Are you looking at 2014 TT rules? 2015 TT hasn't been published yet, however you can go nasa website for 2015 PT/ST rules.
In PT rules BFG R1=Hoosier R7, R1S=A7. Basically TT B-F follows PT. I thought TT1-3 follows ST rules. Thought TT 1-3 rules were "unlimited tires" as long as they were DOT

Yep in TT3-TT1 the main thing that matters is whether you are running 245s or smaller and 255s or larger. You have to take a power hit to run 255s, so I would probably drop down to a 245 to get the power back.

I think I was wrong about BFG's. Looks like we can run the 245's on my 17x10's so im probably going to go that route. Was vetted by head tire guy on a pro conti race team.

i'm planning to dyno reclass my AP1 @ 215whp to TTC, what weight should I target for the reclass? I assume I cannot just go for lowest weight that would get me the 12:1 for TTC right? I thought greg had some hidden table that modifies the final numbers.
ideally I would shoot for 2600lbs +- a few for gas

1. WHP
2. Weight
3. Class
Also know that you will not get a weight anywhere close to the TTC class weight to power ratio limit.

S2000 (2.2L)('04-'08) TTC 2850
and the fact you are making more whp than a non modified F22, it will be higher than 2850. I don't see it being lower than 2850.
