On a side note, I feel good about my TTB setup this year. I'm at 11.0 ratio and the car feels peppy!
Great driving in your Houston vid, however remind me not to go anywhere you're running TTC

For My 2006, TTC base (no *) numbers are:
210 HP @ 2705 lbs
215 HP @ 2765 lbs
220 HP @ 2830 lbs

I think I'd give up a * for 15 HP

As an FYI, fairly certain last years TTB national champ is gonna run TT3 this year

Greg's emails used to say this. For example, halfway through one of my old dyno reclass emails was the bolded line:
This option may only be used with a PTC/TTC or higher Final Competition Class.

Did you not receive a similiar stipulation but for PTB/TTB?

Pat, it's good to see they finally are giving those damn cheater Hoosier A's you kept beating me with their proper penalty!

But seriously, that seems a little extreme. It's hard to imagine they are that much faster. However, any rule that is going to have us all on longer lasting/cheaper tires is fine with me. Especially with Hoosiers poor contingency, compared to what it used to be, I may try a 6 or 7 point tire this year. Maybe NT01 for the speed. Maybe Maxxis for the contingency. I think that's going to be the toughest setup decision this year.

^^ Yes that stipulation is there for both my TTC and TTB reclasses.

To my understanding, its there because you cannot have a final competition class that's lower than your reclass base class. Meaning that if I were to have a TTB* reclass, then I cannot have a final competiton that lands me in TTC.

My reclass last year did include that clause:

This option may only be used with a PTB/TTB or higher Final Competition Class.

I think what they are trying to understand is how you are running your car in TTC with the TTB reclass, or did you also reclass for TTC? I'm not entire sure how Greg does it (he likes to keep it a black art), but I didn't think you could run lower than your reclass if that's what you are submtting. But I suppose you could not use your reclass for some events and redo your paperwork for TTC each time you wanted to change or just get a TTC reclass and use it to point up to TTB.

I have reclasses for both TTC and TTB. Depending on the field on a given weekend, I'll run my TTC reclass in TTC or a TTB reclass in TTB or TT3.

I think where the mix up happened was on my statement about running my TTC* reclass in TTB for Nationals last year. At the time, I didn't get a TTB reclass yet and was using my TTC* reclass to run TTB. Hope that makes sense.

i think what people wanted to know if you can run the 2760/230whp TTC* reclass in TTC or if it had the stipulation that you had to run it in TTB.

Austin- no clause or stipulation stating I had to run in a final competition class of TTB or higher. Just the normal clause stating that I had to be in PTC/TTC or higher.
