Put on some fresh AD08's, hoping that it'd be a sunny day @ Buttonwillow. Turns out to be pouring, but I had a tonne of fun practicing car control. Last time I was in the rain was 2 yrs ago and all I did was spin.
Cleared up in Red 2 for a bit and got some clean laps. Unfortunately got blocked by another car, and with some mistakes especially after riverside, lost some precious time. Good thing I was still able to push a 2:01.676, squeezing the fierce competition away and secure my first podium win Lucky that Mike was on some beat up star specs or else I wouldn't have had a chance haha.

Just for kicks, here's session 3 with some rain. Some fun slides towards the middle of the video

Big thanks to the guys at Evasive Motorsports for prepping my car! They do some serious good work and know the S2K inside-out

Indeed, the AD08s had so much traction in the rain. Makes me wonder how they'll do in fully dry conditions. IMO AD08 is like SS and RS3 having a baby with the best genes: SS' feedback/precision, RS3's grip levels. It was also very consistent, but then again I suspect track temps were way too low to get the tires heated up and greasy anyways. Until next time...

Nice driving Alex, I like how you bomb that white bmw. I need to take a lesson in over taking people. Ever since I got rocks kicking up on my car by you know who, I get kinda scared trying to be on people ass, so I end up driving what their time is.

that is why I don't give people a 2nd chance lmao
if the guy doesn't point me by when I caught up to him, I will try to make a pass on the next corner no questions asked =p
yes I am bad... I know..
just trying to minimize the time I spent on people's asses therefore less rock chips as well =)
it was a nice battle between you and Daryl in session 4 btw!!
just wish my camera didn't run out of battery...
