2008 is not looking so great for east coast honda challenge in an S2000 (kind of like last year). the participation is fairly low, the car is currently not all that competitive (they may be working on that), etc...
i am looking for idea's.
-dirt track (i have too many teeth)
-shifter cart (not sure where the nearest track is)
- sign up for fun driving schools (off road shit, etc...)
- motorcycle school?
- 24 hours of lemons (that looks like fun)
- ? - whatever needs to be as fast an S2000's.... "spec focus" just doesn't seem like it would be much fun...
what are your plans or experiences?

I've got a wrecked s2k sitting in my garage that's going to eventually be a track car. It will be a work-in-progress throughout 2008, but I should still make it to all of the regional autocrosses, and 8-9 track days. I'd like to get a time trial or two done as well.

I'm thinking about doing the NASA Midwest TT trial schedule. Problem is, I haven't run with NASA before. Do I need anything special before I can participate in the Time Trials over the HPDEs?

I'll probably do 8 - 10 weekends in my Spec Miata, divided among Northwest Region SCCA, Oregon Region SCCA, and ICSCC.
And probably as many autocrosses in my S2000.

Probably race the S2000 in the local North Texas S2000 autocross series again (won street tire class this year). Driving a B-stock RX-8 for Regional+ events and my Elise in tire class super stock for local SCCA/BMWCCA events.

Hagerstown is the "capital of dirt track racing" Ive been to a few. We could slightly "change" your appearance and youd fit right in! Its only left turns though.
