17x10 ULR Wheel and Tire Fitment
I'm currently running FP with my AP1 and am wondering what issues there are running the 949 ULR 17x10 wheels with 295/35. I was thinking about running the +72 offset in the rear and the +52 up front. I know SC_highlander has some experience with this. What needs to be done up front (just fender rolling?) and out back to make these fit? I have also thought about running 275/40s up front, but am unsure about the staggered setup. Any suggestions would be helpful, Thanks.

On Frankenstook, we're running 949's 17x10 +52's all around with 295/35's. It makes for easier rotation. The front fenders are rolled pretty aggressively and the rears are cut with flares covering the hack job.

Trying to figure out if some 285 ventus rs-3 will fit with my 18x10 +40s (+25mm fenders all around)

We are not running any spacers. First off, remove the plastic front fender liners if you haven't already. On Frankenstook, the inside top of the tire would barely rub the roughly-triangular bulge in the inner fender structure. Removing the front tires and going to town on that with a BFH solved that. One wheel, the right side, will rub the inside on the lower control arm at full lock, and I've considered running a 1-2mm spacer, but I'm honestly too lazy to worry about it. It only happens right at full lock, so we just be careful when puttering around paddock/grid.
If I had to guess, I would bet that the +72's out back, with 295 hoosiers would need a fender roll at least. In my case, I wanted the +52's all around so that I could rotate the tires front-to-back, and adding the flares out back was easy. With respect to the 275's -vs- 295's, the 295's fit the 17x10 wheels better, according to the Hoosier guys at Nationals. I'm of the 'put as much rubber as possible under the car' mentality, anyway, so I was happy with that. Plus, the price difference isn't all that much compared to the overall cost of a set of Hoosiers, especially if you were considering going 275F / 295R.
Y'all going to make it to the Atlanta tour in May?

Thanks for the tips, I will let you know how it goes when I decide. I would really like to go to Atlanta, but I don't think I'm going to be able to make it. Work is getting pretty hectic and I might be out of town that weekend, not sure yet. I am shooting to definitely to be at the Blytheville tour though. Hopefully someone shows up though, so its not just you and Garrett.

Yeah I haven't been to Blytheville in a few years, but it was really nice last time I went. We hold our Tri-State Championship (Arkansas, Mid-South, and Mississippi Regions) there every year. Very similar to our Columbus Air Force Site. We had an event this past weekend there (Columbus). Very fast and long course (0.7 miles). If you are ever around Northern MS you should come out. Two-day events also.
