I need a new replacement filter for my AEM V2 CAI, would this K&N filter work?

Yeah should work great as long as its roughly the same filter dimentions so it fits in its current location and your tube is 3"

Yeah KN filters are tried and true, its very much the same thing your replacing it with. A cleanable/reusable cotton filter. Is your current filter worn out?

It's worn, some damage to it as well, i think the previous owner used compressed air to clean it or something.

Do new K&N filters come ready to be installed with oil and shit?

I like the AEM dryflow air filter, no oil to mess with and it filters very good. I have gone over 40k miles on one and when I took it off to clean it, I checked how much dust got on the inside of the intake tube. I put on a white glove and found no dust on the inside of the intake tube. I use the Dryflow filter on all my cars now.

Pretty sure k&n make their filters, or work with them in designing them. My v2's filter has a k&n emblem on it. As long as its the same inside diameter it won't make any difference

Sounds great, can't wait to get it on

Very good price as well. In Sweden things are like x3 price on everything to my car.

This is true, k&n and aem operate out of the same building too.. When I called them about my v2 a K&N guy answered the phone and then transferred me over to the AEM customer service department..
