Default what are good compression numbers ?

Getting ready to get a compression test on a used motor I want to buy, I know I'm looking for even numbers across the cylinders. Anyone have any experience or any info they can share ?

Thanks fellas

As long as you have consistent numbers. Your are good to go. New s2k engine should have 240+ on all four cylinders.

I'm assuming the engine is still in a car? Do you have the ability to do a leak-down instead?
