05 ap2 with full bolt-ons and a apexi neo tuned to 211.2 and 150.2 with the stock cat..
will a test pipe give me more power?? i keep hearing rumors about people loosing power in the mid range with a test pipe.... is it true??

no, you will gain power.

Consider a high flow cat, it makes about the same power (-1 hp or so)

you will also need to retune, because it will lean out your car a good point

u will definetly gain power, not much but it's a gain. u won't lose power that is silly

Has anyone discussed the long-term fuel trim ramifications of a TP? I've searched and didn't see a whole lot. Sure, an initial dyno will gain power due to the LTFT being @ the settings for a cat, but is there proof of sustained gains from a TP??? I'm concerned that as the ECU learns that any gains would be lost.

Anyone tuned who changes something to do with the engines performance (in this case installing a TP) should get retuned to truley reap the benefits.

$350? Better go a little higher than that. I just spent $450 on a used Emanage Ult with harness and plan another $200-$300 for tune.

You will gain a small amount but not much, the stock CAT is a highflow to begin with.

Highier flowing CATS IMO will add next to nothing on the F20C or F22C n/a wise.
