I just got rid of my CAI due to almost hydrolocking it once due to a puddle i didnt see. I loved the damn thing in every way possible but one scare was enough to take it off. If you drive your car daily dont get the cai but if you dont then go for it. The spoon snorkel will be alot safer but wont sound as good. I replaced mine with a prm for now but we'll see what happens if I get bored of it lol

Out of those two I'd get the AEM, if you see a giant puddle just avoid it or go slow if it's not deep. I've heard of a ton of people driving in hurricane downpour weather with CAIs and not having any problems
