According to the Old One, aka Larry of Endyn, the OEM plenum doesn't have enough volume to support a "healthy" motor.

lol, thats the FIRST thing i said the first time i ever saw an s2000 motor.

it baffles me, honda CAN make some kick ass intake manifolds (k-series, ITR, d16y8, etc) but for whatever reason they chose to make this one suck ass.

Its not only the volume that makes it suck, but the "top" is too close to the runners, less than an inch in most places. how the hell do they expect any air to get in there with the roof less than an inch away

From what I understand, they made the manifold this small to improve engine response without affecting power too much.

afaik, the only thing easily available is inline pro manifold

no jdm bling parts? ha ha ha

Has anyone tried the inlinepro manifold already? what are the pros and cons? i'd like to hear an actual write up about it.

the only comparison was the one inline pro posted.. which was pretty 1/2 ass IMHO

Have any details on it or a link? Why know one has produced an affordable IM for the S is beyond me.

decent gains with that manifold. I wonder what the throttle response is like with it.
