I have a tr1 70-em single ss and aside from the asm one u mentioned it's quieter than most of the single exhausts in the market. I had a jic titanium single 63mm prior to the 70-em and it was hella loud! I would say ti will bump up the noise factor quite abit... I have been tempted by the 70-em ti version though...lol..all in all. I like the 70em ss ...
also found if u change headers it makes it louder too.. I had a stock header , dc header and now on a toda header and the exhaust got progressively louder with each mod. lol

IMHO I'd suggest to either throw the OEM Exhaust back on. If you havent already, do the UK exhaust mod for better flow. Or invest in a resonator that will achieve the db limit with your current exhaust.
Either way you'll probably loose some hp. Or throw a few pounds to whomever tests it on the day lol. Not many suggestions/options really...
Hope you work out something.

Interesting how no one has yet to mention HKS Hi-Power Single or the Greddy Spectrum Elite Single? Aren't these two the more quiet ones among the singles out there? Or am I just plain wrong on this?
Could you comment on these two if you have actual first-person experience?
