Default Quiet 70mm single exhaust needed!

Hi all,

I need to get about 98db at 5800 rpm to fit with track day limits, from a really light single exhaust. I currently have a Js 60 RS and it's often borderline on the 105bd limits we have for racing, so i've got no chance of getting on track days with it

The ASM 70 Ti is discontinued and I can't find anything else available with what I need without going custom.

I did have an ASM SS 70mm but it was on the heavy side. Sound levels were perfect though. Something like the Mugen dual noise levels or a bit louder would be ideal.

Any ideas??

haha good luck.
I don't think there's anything now but GoTuning is supposedly continuing development of the titanium Greddy single which I think might mimic the ASM 70 design

Yup i've been bothering Tommy for a while but no sign of a release date yet

Dan, I thought T1R was pretty loud? I don't care about drone at all, just overall db at 3/4 rpm.

Take the angle grinder to the ASM and make it thinner?

The -EM is evasive motorsports spec its got a different muffler on to make it quieter and legal for tracks with noise limits.
I have one and its still plenty loud though it makes good power

If you search in the R&C forum laguna seca threads they have a 92db limit or something apparently the EM passes

Thanks Dan, I've watched a couple of vids now and looked at the design and it might do the trick! I've emailed Evasive to see what they have in stock.

I run a race cat too, so that will help

I don't think the EVS 70-SSP is any lighter than the ASM 70 if you think that's heavy.

You could always throw a down-turn on the end. How come it seems the s2000 is so loud, even with exhaust? My e36 passed an SCCA event with noise limit of 95db@50ft with a straight pipe and no down-turn. The car was incredibly loud at all rmps.
