um, i wouldnt with a 2.2 liter. just because you have ap1 you dont have rev to 9k. but what the difference in the ap1 cams and ap2 cams is the the ap1 vtec lobes are slightly bigger giving gains in the powerband on both the intake and exhaust cams. but the small lobes are different sizes to make a swirl effect to get better gas milage but this causes you to lose whp and wtq.

i raised my redline to 8500, the ap2 cams are only made to make power to 8k the ap1 cams are made to make power to 8.7k-ish. and i lower vtec to 4200, so i would greatly benefit from switching to ap1 cams.

I say ditch all the stuff you have and start over. If your going for all motor basically all the parts you have are worthless..
Do you research and then start dishing out the thousands and thousands it will cost you to get decent (for na) gains.

if you want the most, you such also ditch the fujitsudo, and get a single or just bigger exhaust. what is the point of having a 70mm tp when both of you header and your exhaust are small. doesnt the aem v2 make more power than the cai? and i agree, that dc headers are proven to do nothing. man, you started out wrong.
The V2 is a CAI.

while the V2 is a cold air intake type but aem makes the "V2" and the "Cold Air Intake". and yes the supposably the "V2" does make more hp than "Cold Air Intake".

For the price of the DC header, you can pick up one of the PRivate Label Manfucturing Nitrile Coated headers which IIRC are a j's knockoff but with a 2-3mm larger collector and dyno proven to make power. I too am not a fan of DC headers on the S2000 (I recall that the collector is actually the same if not smaller than stock) and although the OP who dyno'ed one on Cobb's MD, that is the only exampled of positive feedback and aside from that, there hasn't been anything I have seen. What if the DC header is limiting the result of the other performance parts.

You could but I woould not recomemd it. On a 2.2L you don't really want to pass 8500-8600, to be safe.

As others have said dyno your car to get a base line. Go with a hytech header exahaust set up or at least T1R 70 RT, 4.77's AP1 cams and AP1 tranny if you want to serious with it.

Redline wasn't based on cams, is is due to the bottom end. I think ppl rev to 8400-8600 for race applications. I wouldn't do it too often.
