Default NA setup with AEM EMS

Hi guys i have got my exhaust and intake setup for a while and now decide to refresh it with AEM EMS. here is my current setup: J's carbon intake, T1R header (new version), J's test pipe and J's 60RS single. i wonder how many gains or number i could probably get with a good tuner? i've heard that people with NA setup with AEM EMS does not gain too much..like 6-8 whp? and mostly at mid range but minimal at peak. my goal is about 15 whp hopefully. is it possible?

thanks guys

Well if you figure in the added weight you can get rid of by switching maybe it will feel like that much.

wrong forum...

but, when I was NA, I had t1r 70mm with test pipe, j's header, K&N fipk, and was tuned with the emanage ultimate. On my tuner's dyno, peak whp on stock ap2 is 220whp. With the mods I had about a peak whp figure of 247 or so, and ran a 16:1 AFR at 5000-6000 rpm Tuned, I had 250whp of peak power. So I picked up 30whp from those mods.

But the real difference was in the midrange, where I picked up 5-25 ft lbs of torque between 4000-6000 rpm.

oops....wrong forum...

so you got 220 whp with stock ap2 and 250 whp with the mods? sounds a little too high to me tho. i haven't dynoed my car yet but from what i know people usually get around 200 whp with stock car.

Each car is different, so it's hard to just tell you what numbers you would make. I will say that with a good tune you will be over the 220whp mark, and could possible be near 230whp. I don't know much about the new T1R header(I don't think many do), so hopefully it performs as well as your other mods should to get some decent gains.

that is why i gave you before and after; the absolute numbers don't matter, only the delta, or the change from the baseline dyno to a tuned dyno

whether or not it went from 220 to 250 or 190 to 220, it doesn't matter... in both cases, the delta is the same

with your mods, yes it should be

you will also be able to drop vtec to about 4000 rpm

vtec at 4000 looks too low for me as a DD. 5000 would be better isn't it?
