Default My F20C/F22C build

well my motor shit the bed last night so now im gonna be pulling it and building it....

here are cliff notes
-bottom end is the problem
-it dropped oil pressure when i was driving for some reason
-pulling the motor next week to see the damage
-the car is still drivable and has very minimal knock...only under load
-head is perfectly fine
-yes oil was up to the top
-no it does not smoke under load or at idle
-suspect it was a bad oil jet that caused a worn main bearing becuase when it dropped to idle the oil light would flicker

now as for the plans for the motor

-F20C head
-F22C bottom end
-Spoon Headgasket
-Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
-02-03 Ecu
-I/H/E

any suggestions will be much appriciated and help from knowlegable members, i also do not care for stupid comments made in this thread so i will probably ignore you if you post stupid obvious comment

now on to the pics

You should get some port work done on that head ; ). But looks like a good build can't wait to see it finished.

Spend your money in other places, you won't see much unless you boost

I would think that you will really need to watch your AFR's after building to make sure the extra displacement does not throw off the ECU; too lean. Or are you planning to use a piggy-back or stand-alone?

You're building an f22 with ap1 retainers. You need the f22 ecu.

Any reason you don't just put AP1 cams in the AP2 motor. Won't that be the same thing? Except you'll still have the better AP2 retainers.

the only reason i am using an ap1 head is because the ap2 head i got with the motor is messed up......so i will need an AP2 ecu to run F20 head on F22 block? i thought guys are running full F22Cs on ap1 Ecu's and yes i was prolly gonna tune with a vafc II or afc neo

I would think the 00-01 ecu would be better for this setup then the 02-03
