To the OP,

Can you please confirm if this the TB Adapter that you used:
P2R 04-08 TL Big Bore TB Adapter

You also mentioned using a "modified s2k throttle gasket and a TL shawd throttle gasket." So which gasket did you use on what side of the adapter? I assume the TL gasket between the TB and adapter, and the S2K gasket between adapter and intake manifold? Also, exactly what modifications were done to the gasket(s)?

Thanks!

yes that is the adapter we used, and by modified i meant i just opened up the gasket to 70mm like the manifold and the adapter.

I wanted to do this a few years back but 400 for just the TB was the downfall.

$185 for the MDX/ZDX J37 DBW TB.
16400-RYE-A11 - ELECTRONIC CONTL - Bernardi Acura Parts & Accessories

And here's the best deal I've found for the adapter:
04-08 Acura TL P2R Big Bore Throttle Body Adapter

I ordered both items, along with new OEM gaskets, studs, nuts and bolts. I have a spare manifold ready to be port matched to the adapter and throttle body. Will be doing a proper back-to-back dyno comparison in the spring.

what other mods the OP car had, besides rdx injectors and TB?

I did this a year ago, with a Acura TL TypeS DBW Throttle Body, P2R Spacer Etc. went to the dyno and didnt see a difference in numbers.
