intake ideas?

The link below is for an item that generates spot cooling to as low as -30%. How to get compressed air to it and would it generate a large enough volume of cold air to make a difference...I have no clue but thought I would mention it here.

Cooling the air will lean out the mixture unless you can add more fuel, so as long as you have a wideband open loop tuning option and injectors capable or adding as much extra fuel as necessary you can only do so much.
Heat soak on the intake tube isnt the issue, when you are WOT the entire column of air in just about any intake will pass through and into the engine in less than a second not enough time to heat soak.
Where you place the filter however will make a difference.
The best thing you can do is a get a true ambient air intake like AEM V2 and tune.
Also one thing to be aware of is dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide if you engine is ingesting it then it is displacing the oxygen it uses for fuel.
I have built air chiller boxes with dry ice for drag cars but it's going to get expensive, time consuming and a big hassle when the material you house it in keeps fatiguing and failing.
