Default hybrid f20 stroker

http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0609turp...uild/index.html

i was wondering how "possible" would this be and if anyone has a gustimate of how much it would be that would be awesome (i would like to just have an all motor stroker).....i am asking this because i am looking to get an s2k and cant decide if i want a low mileage one for around $11-14k or if i should get a higher mileage car and save the difference in cost and when the motor finally craps out on me build a stroker car on a small shot of nitrous. but it will be my daily so reliability would be awesome. but i have access to other cars while its being built

There are tons of people that have stroked their F2XC to 2.2, 2.4, 2.5, and even 2.7 liters. Have you tried using the search feature to find threads about it?

You don't even own the car yet and you want to rebuild the motor? There are far easier and cheaper ways to get power out of this car *cough*turbo*cough*. If this insults your intelligence then I apologize. Just saying.

this is a TERRIBLE way to stroke the motor.. use pistons made for a COMPLETELY different motor and rods that dont fit just to save 10bucks.

this has been covered time and time again.

i was being sarcastic, you save about 250 in the cost of the pistons, everything else costs the same.

if you want to be a cheap ass and use parts that dont fit then go for it
