Fuel milage is pretty close to oem, I do have a heavy foot.. Of course in the city around town I'm not in it too much. When driving from Florida up to the dragon in a convoy we all get gas at the same time and I'm right with everyone else. Afr on the highway I think is around average 14.7

kevos2k::::

I have considered this, but with the money already invested in what I have, I can't justify taking it much further than a header, cams and intake upgrade... But it would be intresting to see what it would do

??? My s2k is pretty much stock except for full exhaust system, (at least i think) and no bull off our 10.3 or whatever gallon tank i'm getting 280miles easy off a full tank. Excuse my math but isn't that about 27-28 mpg?

Its 13 gallons but if you are nice and cruise around 70-75 the car will get 27 maybe 28 mpg if its almost 100% highway. Great economy! To my knowledge there is no car that has better performance with the same gas mileage.

4bang6- That is quite amazing that you are getting roughly the same mileage. Your set up makes me have a second dream next to the k24/k20 head swap. If you don't mind me asking, what would you say you spent all in on your set up?

I get 26mpg with a mix of city and highway(60mph) driving. This was the same that my Prelude got, that also got 31.5 on the Freeway(70ish mph). I'll see what the s2k can really do when I cruise to some meets this year.

Why not lean it out to about 16 afr for highway cruising? Should pick up a decent amount of mpg if you do a bunch of highway driving and no ill effects. I picked up some nice highway cruising mpg after having it leaned out to 16 cruising.

I tuned my H22 to 16:1 on my cruising loads which increased gas mileage by 3mpg.

Doing this however will increase EGT. If you have a cat, it most likely won't last long. Also the further away from stoich(rich or lean), the more emission's you'll have.

Me ether. I'd have to detune both of my cars if I ever moved to a big city like Portland.
