Default High Flow Cat + FlashPro + Intake

Hello,
I'd like to increase the mid-range torque /hp on my newly acquired 07 S2000
I need feedback from people that have a HFC + intake + FlashPro on an AP2 06+. What RPM were you able to set your vtec onset point with the previously mentioned mods with the flashpro? I'm keeping the stock header and exhaust on my car and would like a rough estimate of the range that I'd be able to set my vtec. Those mods cost ~$1200, do they yield noticeable gain?
Thanks!

HFC won't let you really go much below 5500 for VTEC engagement.

This is test pipe and tune, otherwise stock.

For anyone that's considering this setup and a tune - Do it!
Jeff Evans etuned my car and set the Vtec engagement point @ 4K running on 93 octane.
Also, no smelly fumes

Not sure where that number comes from. I'm at 4200 with a HFC and I could go even lower. If you want to know for sure, then set the engagement for something really low like 3k, do a pull, and then something really high, like 6k and see where the power and torque curves intersect, that should be your point.

post your dyno. it will physically do it, but there will be a huge drop in power.

Here's my dyno. There's actually a jump in power.

Do you have any experience tuning your car with a flashpro + HFC?

I have that setup and got eTuned. HFC will allow you to set it low, most definitely. I have mine at 3900.

220/153. How is that not close?

Berk says their HFC flows 90% as well as a TP and those numbers support that.

way less midrange gain which is the whole point. the cat alters vtec response from engagement point to ~5500. top end isn't really an issue.
