yea i had a aem v2 and w.e. difference it made from the k&n fipk that i have now good or bad it was not worth have the aem v2 due to where i live there is bad weather at times.

Hmmm, forgot about this post, when we have some time I'll try try this again compared to my friend's pwjdm intake. Might take a while though.

I have a K&N FIPK and the AUT cooling plate. I left the OEM plastic radiator shroud in place as I read you have to take the bumper off to remove it???
Anyway, I mainly bought the AUT plate for looks, but did hope that it would help direct air to my intake. I had my car on the Dyno earlier this year and with a massive fan placed in front of the radiator about 2-3' away I noticed that ZERO air was moving through the AUT plate and into the intake box. All the air that was going to the intake was coming from the side near the fender. Meaning the air was traveling around the radiator and into the intake box.
I have read that for the AUT to work, the OEM shroud must be removed. Just sharing my experiences.

^Lol, I helped my friend install his PW intake and found out that it is pretty easy and I think that's the route I would take now; although I think it was still a little faster for me to remove it the way I did (not easier though).
