That is the nicest S2000 engine bay ever. I wish there was an ITB solution for 06+ cars.

There is the hardware from Urge and AT Power, but you have to run a standalone that allows control of DBW ITB motor so you can do Alpha N tuning instead of MAP.

MAP values fluctuate a lot with ITB so it'll be really hard to tune for idle and part throttle using Flashpro.

So it really is just the ECU that is the hurdle at the moment. The rest of the complexity with ITB hardware is similar to a cable throttle setup.

I had my ITB car tuned on traditional MAP sensor signal, it worked great with the Urge vacuum block.

Pull the DBW unit, and run a throttle cable. It's a drop in the bucket price wise and difficulty when you're doing ITBs anyway.

Pretty much this. The DWB unit just sends the signal to a throttle cable - cut out the "middle man".

Just wish it was possible with the Flashpro and stock ECU. I'm in CA so there's no way I would try with these smog laws and a standalone. I already got flagged for a state referee inspection once for my tune (I have a way to get around it luckily, for now...). I will live vicariously through Feezy and others who can mod to their hearts content.

Can you get creative with how you insure/register your car? Out here in Arizona if you car is insured as a collector car you can then register it as a collector car which makes it smog exempt.

My wife glanced at my screen as I was scrolling through the engine bay pictures and said "oh that's pretty," and she generally does not care about cars.

Sadly collector cars are cars older than 1976 in CA. The only options we have are registering the car out of state (which introduces a new set of complications) or not getting pulled over . I've never had issues with a tune, exhaust, and cams but I do reinstall my cat and reflash the OEM tune when it's time for smog. ITBs would be a lot more complicated. I've seen a couple of K-swapped cars running around with CA plates. Really curious how they pulled that off (I doubt someone is going through the hoops to BAR a K20 in an AP1).
