F20 and F22 Head compatability

I tried the manifold thing in the past ... way more work, and money, and not as clean. The 06 manifold has to be drilled and tapped to fit a block off plate, and the plate costs money. 10 minutes to tap the rear passage, and a $3 plug is easiest/quickest way.

Non-DBW head on DBW car, have the machine shop weld the exhaust port closed.

What ECU are you using Dan and what are you reving that setup to? I am definitely considering this route in the future.

So... If you delete the air pump, could you run an ap1 intake manifold on the 06+ head?

Pretty sure you have it turned around.
Confused as to why you'd want a AP1 manifold

well i have a f20 bottom end for a 2.4L swap, an 06 head and a free ap1 intake manifold. was going to port the manifold and run it that way
